Rupert Grint On Why He Enjoys Playing "Damaged" Characters

Rupert Grint is keen to continue his acting career beyond the shadow of Ron Weasley, his beloved character in the Harry Potter film franchise. The 34-year-old actor has spent much of the last five years as a part-time resident of the greater Philadelphia area, filming the M. Night Shyamalan grief thriller Servant, whose fourth and final season recently premiered on Apple TV+. Undeniably, Grint has hit a creative groove, delivering the best performances of his career by repeatedly prodding at the morbid side of humanity and its supernatural fantasies. “I do have a bit of a fear of death,” Grint says, “And this has made me face it a bit.”
