“I was having sit-downs with executives and we were having discussions of game plans,” he says. “And that whole world, it felt so like it had nothing to do with me. And it had nothing to do with the younger version of me, it had nothing to do with the dream. It had nothing to do with why I feel like I’m on Planet Earth, and I felt like, ‘Pass.’”
