MKIV Ocean shares the geometry and mechanical makeup of our MKIV racing furler, which is proven over thousands of miles. The design brief demanded MKIV Ocean be easy to assemble. Its single-groove foils go together simply. Aging furlers can be replaced on the dock in an afternoon.  MKIV Ocean furlers are made of hardcoat-anodized aluminum, UV-stabilized for durability. The bottom furling unit has a cast-aluminum housing with a fiber composite cover. So it won't dent after losing a battle with your plough anchor. There are multiple rows of Torlon® ball bearings to minimize friction and make every furl a little less physical. We offer five unit sizes appropriate for cruising boats from 22 to 80'.
