As I sit here writing this message, surrounded by my remark-able co-workers, there's a specific group that keeps bringing a comically-large smile to my face…

The caring customer service team, the effective eCommerce crew, the tenacious team that carefully packs every shipment with cheetah-like speed, the idiosyncratic IT dudes who keep our tech in check, the scrappy team of marketing mavens that bring ideas to life...and YOU. WONDERFUL YOU. 

That may sound like multiple groups, but it’s really just one…the ROAD iD Family. And, I’m beyond thankful to be part of it. 

You may not personally know a single human in our office…but we still consider you a member of our unique brand of Brady Bunch. 

Everyone here wakes up, rolls out of bed, puts on some sick socks, and comes here - because of you. While the bottomless break room coffee helps, our main source of energy comes from the seemingly-countless customer stories that show us how ROAD iD has impacted lives around the world.

Every story, no matter how small, is massively significant to us.

SHARE YOUR STORY
Every day, customers reach out to us with their “ROAD iD stories” - tales of how their IDs give them the confidence to get out and do more, or describe accidents with improved outcomes, or share how a parent was reunited with their child in a crowded space, or tell of furry friends that made it home safely. There are also breathtaking stories when an ID literally helps save a life. These stories are massively motivating to our team. FUELED ADVENTURES
One of the core reasons to wear a ROAD iD is that it “Fuels Adventure.” In other words, it enables you to do the things you love with less worry and more peace of mind. You can go farther, push harder, and do more with ROAD iD by your side. In 2021, I was very fortunate to have embarked on some amazing adventures. I won my first Mountain Bike race, rode some incredible trails in Park City, raced the Swiss Epic (Switzerland) and the Cape Epic (South Africa). And, to cap off the year, my family charted a course to Disney.

LET’S GET PERSONAL
I’m not big on New Year’s Resolutions. I’ve always thought they were a bit corny and a tad cliché. But, I’ve got some things I want to achieve in 2022…and sharing them with you will help keep me accountable to them. So, at the risk of over-sharing, here are my 2022 resolutions:

• Read (or listen to) these sixteen books…twice. 
• 46 “Wednesday Wimmer Dinners” - a night out with the family, no devices, no distractions, choice of restaurant rotates between our four family members. My 7-year-old has expensive taste #nervous. 
• Compete in at least 5 bike races (including the Pisgah Stage Race and the Swiss Epic). 
• Ride my bike (road, mountain, or basement trainer) at least 208 days (4ish days/week avg).
• 11,000 pull-ups/chin-ups (30ish/day).
