Create a Family History Coloring Book

Coloring books aren't just for kids anymore! We love this project because it's a new and creative way to use your old family photos. As long as you have access to photo-editing software (which you can find for free online) and a printer, you can make a family history coloring book from home.

Here are few tips to keep in mind:

Bind your pages together to make a coloring book. Try to choose a method that allows the book to lie flat.
Include a few notes about your ancestor, especially if you're sharing with kids. This can be a great way to teach others about your family's history. ("Grandpa served in World War II. What color was his uniform?")
Share your book with relatives near and far via email, social media or post. Encourage them to share their finished creations.
