Each day, you’ll work on one aspect of photo editing with a photo(s) of your choosing to get “hands-on” experience using recommended software tools and apps.

Lisa A. Alzo, M.F.A. is a professional writer, instructor, and internationally-recognized lecturer. She is the author of nine books and hundreds of magazine articles. She is the author of 11 books, including The Family Tree Polish, Czech and Slovak Genealogy Guide, and hundreds of magazine articles.

Workshop Design:

Each day's lesson will provide you with a packet of learning materials and the day's photo editing objective. This workshop is designed to be hands-on and intensive, so be prepared to devote some time each day to the lessons. However, if you can't make a day's lesson, that's okay - they'll all be there to download and catch up on at the end. The discussion boards will close at the end of the week, but you'll have access to download the materials or read through them in read-only mode for a year after.

For best results, we recommend choosing a photo or a few photos to try the techniques you'll learn and determine which app or software you like best.

Where to find websites and apps for “one-touch” fixes and more detailed editing
How to use your edited digital photographs for photo books, slideshows, or other fun family history projects
