In 2020, investing in mapping our CO2 footpring was a big topic for GANNI It's something we've done since 2016 but in 2020 we found our new partner, Plan A and took a big move towards better understanding our carbon footprint and creating more ambitious and accurate reduction goals
SUPPLY CHAIN TRANSPARENCY
In 2020, our priority was to work with our suppliers in obtaining traceability through our supply chain and scoping out how we make this info more accessible for our community
We're proud to share a map of all our Tier 1 contractual manufacturers to drive transparency
All information is in our report and will be published publicly on the Open Apparel Registry, an open-source map and database of global apparel facilities
As a brand for women, by women, GANNI was founded with a clear mission: to make women feel confident in their own skin Female empowerment and gender equality is one of our core values and part of our DNA Last year, we made a pledge to Gender Equality by signing up to the UN's Women Empowerment Principles, to hold ourselves accountable, but also to provide a framework that ensures our work on Gender Equality becomes concrete, legitimate and progressive
SWITCHING TO RESPONSIBLE FABRICS 🌱
One of our Gameplan goals is to switch to 100% certified responsible fabrics in our collections
