 |  | CANYON//SRAM Racing’s Kasia Niewiadoma has finally delivered the big win we knew she had coming - and what a victory it was! Attacking with her trademark panache, Kasia went clear with 20km left in the brutally challenging course, tackling the most challenging sections of the 140km race by herself and crossing the finish line solo.
The rainbow stripes are sweet vindication for a rider with scores of 2nd and 3rd places in the four years since her last win, and add to an already impressive season where she placed 3nd in the Tour de France Femmes and won the Climber's Jersey. Congratulations from all of us at Giro, Kasia!
