To Know Me Is To Love Me. Black History Month is a time to reflect on the enormous contributions of Black Americans to the culture and fabric of our nation’s history. It’s also a time to celebrate the contemporary individuals in the Black community leading us into the future. This February, HOMAGE is highlighting those writing Black history in real time with our To Know Me Is To Love Me campaign. In their contributions to art, business and sports, through their entrepreneurial spirit, community building and perseverance through adversity, these individuals are defining and redefining Black excellence every single day.

Each of Dan Dover’s finely crafted small batch leather and soft goods tell a story. As the owner and founder of The Pretty Good Company (and a former HOMAGE team member), Dan credits his family’s can-do mentality and creativity for his entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity.

Our new look is inspired by Dan’s pillars of life: respect, truth, equality, love and faith. These core principles have helped him build a business and a life that reflects a deep knowledge of self.

A portion of sales of the Books of Life tee will be directed to Dan Dover to help support Dan's mission to make a positive impact in the community, and a portion will benefit the Maroon Arts Group.
