| Dear Hero, This week we are doing something we have never done before. We are going to fund a service dog for a veteran in dire need, in only a week's time. The goal is to get him funded in time for Memorial Day. Our veteran's name is Brian - his story is remarkable: While serving in Afghanistan, Brian was injured in an IED explosion. The explosion resulted in much more than physical injuries. Brian not only lost both of his legs, but he also developed PTSD. Brian faced new challenges in his everyday life such as learning to walk again, managing pain the prosthetics caused after long days and how to be calm in situations such as grocery shopping. He is in dire need of a service dog to help him get his life back. For Memorial Day we're raising money to sponsor his new Patriot PAWS service dog.
