Mandy Ringe is a professional child and family photographer living in northern Illinois. She started her photography business in 2014 after over a decade as a cake decorator. Mandy fell in love with capturing memories for families and documenting special moments like cake smash sessions for first birthdays.

Combining her artistic eye with her love of cakes, Mandy creates fun custom sets and backdrops for sessions. She designs photography backdrops to send to Kate Backdrop since 2019, thrilled to see photographers worldwide using her creations. Mandy also hand paints backdrops, uses props and balloons, and photographs walls and boards to craft engaging scenes.

Juggling her thriving photography business with being a mom, Mandy is driven to grow her company while raising her two daughters. Mandy's passion for her art and her family is evident in her lively, creative sessions that celebrate life's joyful milestones.
