The Peleton 97 is hands down the best ultralight insulating mid-layer KUIU offers. Wearing it underneath a vest or jacket to me is its perfect position. I've worn it underneath a Peloton 240 or Guide DSC Vest and over an ULTRA Merino 145 or Peloton 118 base layer, which has been perfect for temps in the mid-'40s to the mid-'60s.
