If you’ve had your plant for 1-2 years now, it’s a good time to consider repotting. Typically we recommend repotting as a way to refresh soil, or to encourage growing to a larger size. Here are signs your plant may be ready to move to the next size up: - Matted roots circling on the soil surface
- Roots exiting through drainage holes
- Roots are seemingly “busting” at the seams
- The plant seems to be getting pushed out of its pot
- You notice yellow leaves developing more frequently than normal
- The plant dries out very quickly, in just a few days instead of at least a week
- Growth has slowed or stopped overall
