If you’ve had your plant for 1-2 years now, it’s a good time to consider repotting. Typically we recommend repotting as a way to refresh soil, or to encourage growing to a larger size. Here are signs your plant may be ready to move to the next size up:

Matted roots circling on the soil surface
Roots exiting through drainage holes
Roots are seemingly “busting” at the seams
The plant seems to be getting pushed out of its pot
You notice yellow leaves developing more frequently than normal
The plant dries out very quickly, in just a few days instead of at least a week
Growth has slowed or stopped overall
