Noro Ito Back in Stock!

If you're in search of a yarn that will give your cool weather knits a warm and woolly burst of color, look no further than Noro Ito - and we just received a restock of this amazing yarn just in time for all of your fall/winter cast-ons!

Noro Ito is a rustic wool with legendary color repeats and bold, meandering stripes. Ito's heavy worsted/aran weight makes for quick knitting, and the yarn comes pre-wound in huge, 437 yard cakes!

BROKEN GARTER BLANKETS

First up is our easy-to-knit Broken Garter Blanket. A great project for beginning knitters, this blanket uses a simple combination of knits and occasional purls to create satisfying columns of gloriously striped color.

This blanket alternates between two 2 colorways. Choose 2 similar colorways for a harmonious look or 2 opposing colorways to create a fun cacophony of color! The options are endless!

To knit the Broken Garter Blanket as shown (finished measurement is 45" long x 44" wide), you'll need:

• Noro Ito: 2 balls each in 2 colors (we used Aurora and Raindance)
• US 8 40" circular needle
• Broken Garter Blanket pattern, FREE on our blog!

If you like the look of the Broken Garter Blanket but want it on a smaller scale, then the Broken Garter Scarf is just for you! 

To knit your own Broken Garter Scarf, you'll need:

• 1 ball of Noro Ito (shown in Nabari)
• US 8 needles
• The pattern is FREE with your Ito purchase!

Ito is an ideal choice for Andrea Mowry's Nightshift shawl! This classic triangle shawl is worked up in a simple combination of knits, purls and slipped stitches. Alternate 2 different colored balls of Ito and let its color striping simplify the process! 

For our Ito Nightshift shawl (shown above), we used Uskuke and Mitsuke.

To knit an Ito Nighshift shawl, you'll need:

• Noro Ito: 2 balls, 1 color of each
• US 8 32" circular needle
• A row counter is recommended
• Nightshift pattern
