Woodland Loafers in Lanas Quick!

Loop staffer Bonnie just finished up these fantastic Woodland Loafers using Berroco's ultra-cozy Lanas Quick!

She knit the pair in a weekend as a gift for her husband. She loved knitting them so much that she is already planning to make more!

Bonnie's Loafers got us thinking ahead to the holidays - wouldn't it be fun to make these for the whole family for Christmas or Hanukkah? If you start now, that's a goal you can achieve!

Lanas Quick is a soft, two-ply Peruvian wool. Unlike most chunky weight yarns, it's surprisingly light and lofty! As a result, your thicker gauge garments and accessories will knit up quickly at 3 stitches per inch but without the traditional heft associated with other thicker gauge yarns.

We're currently stocking Lanas Quick in 11 slightly heathered colorways that are beautifully rich and full of depth. 

These slippers are designed to be "cozy little hugs for your feet" and knit both flat and round with no finishing required!

They borrow a few sock knitting techniques like picking up stitches and short rows for heel, toe, and sole shaping to help keep them on their feet.

The pattern is written for 5 teen and adult sizes. There's also a separate pattern (Wee Woodland Loafers) sized for babies too! 

To knit a pair of Woodland Loafers, you'll need:

• 1-2 skeins of Lanas Quick 
• US 8 16" circular needles
• US 8 DPNs
• Woodland Loafers pattern
