For this Kalari sample, we chose the sunny, springy colorway Squeeze. It's so bright and cheerful! | | Kalari is a simple mix of garter and eyelet sections. The shawl is worked top-down from the center back. Loop West staffer Joanna knit our Kalari, and she worked each color in order from light to dark. She changed colors when she had about 6" of each mini skein left. For the final skein, she bound off after one pattern repeat to be sure she would have enough yarn. If you're looking to venture into lace knitting, Kalari is a good place to start. If you can knit, yarn over, increase and decrease, you are ready to give this a try. By the end, you'll be an eyelet expert! | | To knit your own Kalari Shawl, you'll need: | | FIBERSTORY GRADIENT SCARF This easy to knit, bias knit scarf is perfect for beginners and established knitters alike!
