NOVEMBER BALACLAVA

The appropriately named November Balaclava is a new way to keep warm this winter!

This accessory is a uniquely effective way to keep your head and neck cozy, tucking neatly into the top of your jacket without any extra bulk.

We knit our sample in luscious Woolfolk Far, which not only delivers plush, lightweight warmth, it also feels amazingly soft next to the skin!

Far is Woolfolk's dreamy, you'll-swear-it's-cashmere-but-it's-not yarn made of 100% Ultimate Merino in a classic worsted weight gauge.

Far has a unique chainette structure that not only gives each strand luxurious softness, sublime structure, and delicious stitch definition, it also delivers a toasty warmth that's practically weightless.

The November Balaclava is knit from the top down in 1 piece in Fisherman's Rib, which creates a deeply plush fabric for extra toasty warmth.

This pattern is written for 2 adult sizes, S/M and L/XL. (There's also a children's version available separately!)

For the adult November Balaclava, you'll need:

2 skeins of Woolfolk Far (we used the colorway 14)
US 7 16" + 24" circular needles

SOPHIE SHAWL

Make a matching Sophie Shawl with 2 skeins of Far!

Knit in impossibly squishy garter stitch with a clean, knit-as-you-go i-cord trim, the Sophie Shawl pattern includes directions for three sizes (small, medium, and large). Our sample is the small version, which is more scarf-like, and we can confirm that this pattern is just as beautiful in larger sizes too!

To knit your own small (medium, large) Sophie Shawl, you'll need:

2 (5, 6) skeins of Woolfolk Far (we used color 39)
US 8 32" circular needle
