FLUFF SCARF IN FINE TWEED HAZE

Let's end the year with a relaxing knit, shall we? Today, we're bringing you our latest take on the Fluff Scarf! We've created a field of classic stripes by alternating Rowan Felted Tweed with new Rowan Fine Tweed Haze. The result is a tweedy textured delight!

Fine Tweed Haze is a laceweight blend of alpaca, wool, polyamide, and cotton studded with colorful bits and bobs that knit into a lighter-than-air, tweedy fabric.

And just because it's "laceweight" doesn't mean you need fine needles - Fine Tweed Haze has a chameleon-like ability to work up beautifully on larger US 4-8 needles, too!

Felted Tweed is a Rowan classic. Slightly felted wool mixed with alpaca and viscose is spun into a light DK weight perfect for stockinette fabric with depth and excellent colorwork!

To knit our Fluff scarf, we followed the pattern as written and alternated 1 ball of Felted Tweed in Rage and 1 skein of Fine Tweed Haze in Rose, swapping yarns every 2 rows. We just kept going until we ran out of yarn!

We deliberately chose color pairings that were close but not matching - we love how the subtle difference creates a lovely color shift between stripes!

You'll need:

1 skein of Rowan Fine Tweed Haze (we used Rose)
1 skein Rowan Felted Tweed (we used Rage)
US 6 24" needle
