Kitchen Island Lighting

Make a visual statement over your kitchen island by hanging multiple pendants. Bright LED pendants will provide generous task lighting while making a bold design statement. Plus, you can play with both the shape of the lights, as well as the color of the cords to create a striking visual effect that's both practical and beautiful.

Wall Lights

Not every dining room needs, or can even accommodate, overhead lighting. Consider using wall sconces to provide ambient room light. LED lights in particular can provide plenty of illumination without a large footprint. Use multiple lights of the same style spaced around the room to keep the room bright and well lit.

Countertops tend to be about 36 inches tall, which translates into a counter stool with a seating height of about 24-26 inches. If you're a laser-focused worker who can tune out the world for hours, an ergonomic, adjustable chair will support you day in and day out. A more active worker who needs to jump up and down a lot might prefer an armless chair. And those whose home offices do dual duty as a dining room table may want a supportive (and coordinated) dining chair instead of a task chair.
