Hello there,
It’s July? How odd. We had one of those air-clearing downpours yesterday, and you could feel the sigh of relief from everyone. Here are a few things you could do this weekend, depending on what kind of change you’re looking for:
If you want to change your mood in two seconds:
- Try one of these quick day-to-night styling tricks, almost as good as a real magic trick.
- Or you could learn a real magic trick, almost as good as a two-second styling trick.
- Or you could do both and swipe on this color-changing mood ring of a lipstick.
If you want to refresh your space:
- You could plug in this tiny but mighty lamp that makes your wall look like there’s a sunset sweeping across it.
- You could find a big bunch of hydrangeas and set them up in the window. When they wilt, submerge them in water for a bit, and they’ll bounce right back. This tip also counts as a magic trick.
- Or you could pull on a twirl-encouraging dress to make any room instantly come alive.
If you want to elope:
- You could wear this dress, or this one, and head up to that park by your house that somehow always has good light.
- You could run off to Switzerland, so you can have chocolate Sprüngli cake with daisies on it to celebrate.
- You could grab one of these beautiful, breezy, and on-sale pieces for whatever you are doing for the honeymoon. Globetrotting? Trainspotting? Brunch at that diner you love? We’ve got you covered.
We’ll be tracking down a very specific color of blue hydrangeas and going on a bike ride.
Warmly,
The M.M. Team
P.S. We’re thinking something like the shade of blue used for the jellyfish, to be exact (via @metmuseum).
