In 2021, we proudly announced the completion of a massive solar installation, which now powers all of our house-brand operations. This addition has now earned Maud's Coffee & Tea the proud distinction of being the first of its kind to boast production that utilizes solar power for a significant percentage of its power.

As the first company to commercialize the use of highly recyclable Poly Propylene #5 K-cups, we were able to address the concerns of earth-minded consumers regarding the waste historically generated by single-serve beverage packaging. Then, we took it a step further by being the first to have their K-Cups certified recyclable by SCS Global, an international leader in third-party certification, validation, and verification for environmental, sustainability, and food safety and quality performance claims.

Cartons: All of our cartons and shipping boxes are made from recycled materials.

K Cups: Our coffee pods are certified recyclable and are made from #5 polypropylene, which is accepted at 60% (and growing!) of recycling centers in the US. It also provides a superior moisture and oxygen barrier that gives your blends a longer shelf life.
