Step 1: Using your trauma shears, cut each pant leg up towards the waistband. Step 2: Wrap the legs around the pelvis & tie them off at the waist. Note: This should cause the patient to feel a squeeze in their hips. Step 3: The one knot alone will stabilize a pelvis to get the patient to a higher level of care.
