Dew Glow Moisturizer SPF 50 PA++++ is meant to be your all-in-one morning skincare routine because it protects, moisturizes, and provides antioxidants like niacinamide and a Vitamin C derivative to further enhance your skin. It even has a filter to slightly perfect the look of your skin and protect against blue light from the sun, which is the blue light that matters because it causes premature aging and discoloration. And yes, you can use a separate vitamin C serum underneath for more benefits (I do!).
I have to tell you, it took a while to land on the concept of this product. We thought about launching with an all mineral (inorganic) filter sunscreen, but ultimately decided chemical (organic) filters were more in-line with our beliefs.
Chemical filters can provide superior UV protection when formulated with supportive ingredients. They can be used on all skin types (despite what you may have heard), and more importantly, on all skin tones. Remember, formulation matters!
I spent so many years avoiding chemical filters because I thought they would irritate my melasma or cause irritation. It turns out, I was missing out on elegant formulas that I would want to apply daily, and that’s the key. Sunscreen is the most important step of your morning skincare routine, but if you don’t enjoy the product and the experience, you won’t commit to daily usage and consistency.
