During this workshop, there will be plenty of opportunity to capture different varieties of food such as Thai, Mexican, Curry and Italian, as well as capturing the action that takes place within the kitchen with the in-house chef operating a variety of different kitchen implements. There will be fantastic opportunities for some interesting macro shots, flat lays and more. During the day, you’ll also step outside the kitchen to capture shots of their BBQ setups and Argentinian Grills!
But it’s not just the food that takes centre stage, as there will also be opportunities to hone your portrait skills of the chefs in action, making use of the variety of Sony prime lenses, and expert advice from Sony UK. And if your camera is new to you, this is a fantastic opportunity to speak to the experts at Sony who’ll be on-hand to help you get the best out of your kit, as well as to try out some of the latest new products available!
This workshop has been put together to allow as much shooting time as possible, with the aim of giving you the knowledge and skillset to shoot your own food photos, whilst having fun in the process.
This is a Sony event where existing Sony users are welcome to bring their own kit although you are invited to try out a variety of different cameras and lenses throughout your day. If you’re not a current Sony user but are considering the switch, this is a fantastic opportunity to try out a range of cameras and lenses for the day, along with expert advice from a technical expert from Sony UK and the expert team from the Kent Cookery School. Simply leave all your kit at home, although don’t forget to bring a memory card for any images you may wish to keep!
At the end of the workshop, we’ll invite all attendees to submit their favourite shot of the day, with the chance to win a cookery class held at the Kent Cookery School.
Places on this workshop are limited to just 12 delegates. This event will be held at the Kent Cookery School, The Courtyard, Hythe Road, Mersham, Ashford, Kent, TN25 6NH.
