But it’s not just a new camera they’ve announced, as also expected later this year are two new lenses in the shape of the LEICA DG 100-400mm II and LEICA 35-100mm f/2.8 – both expected to arrive in November.

HIGH-SPEED PERFORMANCE TO ENSURE DECISIVE MOMENTS ARE ALWAYS CAPTURED
Burst shooting at 60 fps in AFC mode and reinforced buffer memory for continuous burst shooting over three seconds for ensuring the capture of targeted moments. Plus, SH pre-burst recording can begin shooting up to 1.5 seconds before the shutter is released.

An optimally arranged lens structure featuring one aspherical lens, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses, and one UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) lens produces detailed and beautifully textured high-resolution, high-contrast images.

With a focal length of 200mm to 800mm (35mm camera equivalent), this lens is ideally suited to capture a range of subjects that are difficult to approach, such as wild birds and animals, as well as sporting events. In addition to this, the separately sold 2.0x teleconverter enables 1600mm full life-size macro shooting for more impressive, detailed shots of flowers, animals, and other subjects. |
