Find time to be with yourself. I don’t mean binge watching TV shows or listening to podcasts. I mean sitting in contemplation to experience the constantly unfolding, ever-expanding energy that gives rise to you. You can do this by calming and settling yourself, breathing deeply, and really being in tune with yourself. This creates presence and the rise to feeling all that is around you (light, sound, touch, taste, etc). This awareness is your consciousness – feel the hum of it. This hum of your beingness is all yours, never goes away, never dims, is always true, and is the source of all that you are and all that you experience. There is nothing greater than being connected to your source.

A balanced mind. Supplementation with compounds like CBD, GABA, and even Progesterone (not just for women!), can help calm things in the nervous system and move you into a parasympathetic (rest, digest, regenerate, detoxify) state. Stress is a silent killer, so getting out of sympathetic dominance is a powerful way to support your health. Taking a few minutes for deep breathing is one of the quickest ways to flip your autonomics. Practicing other mindful activities like regular meditation, exercise, saunas, and time in nature are also powerful options to help balance the mind.

I sit quietly in contemplation in the morning before I start my day. Then I do a 20-minute sauna and red light therapy session most days and exercise at least 3x/week using a treadmill and resistance training. I intermittent fast almost every day and practice a Mediterranean-style diet with a bit more animal protein.

One of the most important things I have recently added is to drink more water! I start with a mug of hot water in the morning to support my digestive system and often drink warm water throughout the day – I love my coffee and can’t drink it all day long, so warm water is a great replacement. The body really integrates the warmth well, especially in colder months. In the summer, I just make sure I’m hydrating well. I love to include Quinton Hypertonic to my water once or twice a day.

For other supplementation (and you know I have an extensive list!) I take NAD+ Platinum®, Ultra Vitamin®, Membrane Mend™, Longevity Elite™, The One, AMPK+ Charge™, and have added our soon-to-be-released Performance Cardio+. Though nothing is taken every single day.
