βAs someone with HOODED ASIAN EYES, these are a game changer! If you hate the traditional glue-on lash band method or hate magnetic lashes, TRY THIS!
The black eyeliner is very pigmented and is "ready" as soon as you're done applying it. There's no waiting game like with the traditional lash glue in a tube. It's sticky but not too sticky. The lash bands are thin so they blend in very well. I was able to apply both lashes in 5 minutes on my first try, and I didn't have to "mess" with it throughout the day. I was able to remove these lashes and the rest of my makeup SIMULTANEOUSLY using my everyday double cleanse (cleansing oil followed by gentle cleanser). I didn't have to spend extra time slowly removing the lashes with Q-tips and additional makeup remover.
No more squeezing lash glue from a tiny tube! No more messy lash glue on my fingers and countertop if I squeeze too much. No more stupid waiting games. No more sticky liquid mess on your lids and lashes if you don't wait long enough. No more having to trim a whole magnet off when trimming magnetic lashes. No more TRAUMA from ripping your natural lashes off when magnetic eyeliner won't come off and lash magnets are too strong (different company). Yes, I'm seriousβ¦a different company's magnetic liner wouldn't come off with any makeup remover and multiple hot showers. The magnets on the lashes were so strong that the string of magnets separated from the false lashes before separating from my eyelid.
Magnetic lashes are apparently just regular falsies with a "string of tiny magnets" glued on. I ripped the falsies off the strip of magnets and then ripped the string of magnets off my eyelids. The areas with magnets took the magnetic eyeliner with them. I had to use my nails to claw off the leftover eyeliner. Again, different company.
Silly George might have better magnetic lashes, but I'll never know. I'm so traumatized from my first attempt at magnetic lashes that I refuse to try again. Took months for the bald spots to grow back.
Anyway, I might actually start wearing false eyelashes more, given how easy it was to apply and remove.
