We're a small but mighty women-led company based out of beautiful Portland, Oregon and while we've been making awesome socks (and more) since 2004, we're continuously working behind the scenes to be more sustainable. In honor of Earth Day, we wanted to celebrate some of our initiatives and progress with you.

Our packaging is crafted with care. We removed plastic hooks from labels, savings hundreds of pounds of plastic waste from landfills and oceans. We also work with our suppliers to find quality materials, resulting in selection of a fully recyclable and responsibly sourced paper to prevent waste.

Sock It to Me is committed to offsetting some of our environmental impact by selecting a logistics partner that plants a tree for each and every shipment. Their Green Tree Initiative supports the work of Trees for the Future (TREES). This 501(c)(3) international non-profit organization meets a triple bottom line standard. TREES has currently planted over 300 million trees and restored over 70,000 acres.

Our office and warehouse both operate with sustainability efforts to remove single-use plastics and reduce waste. Along with an implemented recylcing program, all incoming vendor packaging gets sorted for reuse or recycle.

We also created a reusable kraft box for our monthly sock s - encouraging the community to repurpose the shipping box in a myriad of fun ways.
