Our Design a Sock Contest is back!

Attention all creative minds! Unleash your imagination and submit your original sock design for a chance to win big. Whether you're inspired by vibrant patterns, whimsical characters, or bold graphics, this contest is your platform to showcase your artistic flair and have your design brought to life as an official Sock It to Me creation! HOW TO ENTER:

Simply head over to the contest page to use the submission template and upload your design. If snail-mail is more your speed, entries can also be sent to 9592 SE Main St., Milwaukie, OR 97222. The call for submissions ends on July 31, 2023, at 5PM.

Created 18 years ago by our founder, Carrie Atkinson, our team is so excited about this year's Design-A-Sock Contest! To celebrate, here's a peek of our team members trying their hand at creating their own sock designs just for fun! It was such a fun event seeing everyone's creativity and spending time together talking about all the great designs we've seen throughout the years!

What does our team want to see on socks?

Flowers coming out of shoes
Puppies as popsicles
Their dogs
Sock robots
Chains
Horoscopes
and so much more!

ENTER YOUR DESIGN!

In 2023 we have made it our goal to support organizations through volunteering and donations! In May, Sock It to Me participated in our second volunteering event of the year! We headed over to Esther's Pantry to clean and scrub down their kitchen and storage areas, so it's ready for the food donations to come in! Esther's Pantry provides 1-2 HUGE food boxes monthly to any community member in need. They also record and ship according to individuals dietary restrictions and preferences to ensure no food waste!

We then went next door to Tod's Corner to merchandise and dust the store! Tod's Corner is a space for folks living with HIV to shop for free necessities for their homes and families. Many clients are transitioning from homelessness into housing, and they need EVERYTHING for their new living space. From clothes of all sizes to home decor to make their place feel more homey, the people in this community need help to hit the ground running as they transition to their own space to live.

They are always looking for donations of gently used home goods and clothing donations. Open most days of the week from 9-4pm, you can drop stuff off or send donations here: 10202 SE 32^nd Ave., Suite 601. Milwaukie, OR 97222.
