ALICIA REESE, DESIGN DIRECTOR

Alicia is our cherished Design Director and obviously has a massive impact on all the awesome socks that we're constantly coming up with - not to mention having designed a fair few of them herself. Making a sock only begins with the artwork, and Alicia works with our Design Team and factories to get each and every pair looking and fitting just right before they're presented to our lovely fans. She clearly has a lot of love for each pair, but we asked her to narrow down a few favorites so our fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at what socks she's currently rocking with.

As we bid farewell to 2023, we're excited to share the incredible impact we've made together with your support through our meaningful partnerships and community outreach.

Rose Haven: Your Impact on Breaking the Cycle
With your ongoing support, we've continued our commitment to Rose Haven, a day shelter and community center dedicated to empowering those facing the trauma of homelessness. Thanks to your patronage, we volunteered for the second year, restocking goods, sorting products for upcoming needs, and collected a generous $875 cash donation during our warehouse sale. Additionally, your contributions enabled us to donate 4,799 pairs of socks, providing essential items to those in need.

Cascade AIDS Project (CAP) and Our House: Your Support for Community Health
Your involvement has extended to Tod’s Corner and Our House of Portland, organizations making a significant impact in the lives of those living with HIV. Earlier this year, our team volunteered with Tod’s Corner, contributing to cleaning and restocking efforts. Your patronage also allowed us to donate 3,775 items to Our House/Tod’s Corner and 1,000 units to fill AIDS Walk Northwest gift bags, supporting CAP's vital role in the annual event. An additional 45 units were contributed to CAP's annual art auction.

As we reflect on the year gone by, we're also excited to share our upcoming 2024 partnership will be with CHAP (Children's Healing Art Project), made possible by your unwavering support. Together, we'll bring art to children facing medical challenges, creating a meaningful connection within our vibrant community.

Throughout the year, we plan to provide art supplies that continuously brighten the worlds of many children, we'll volunteer to help with outreach for their cause, and even donate time in their studio space transferring our love for expression to fun and colorful art projects.
