Originating from County Donegal in Ireland, donegal tweed is renowned for its warmth, durability, and trademark colourful flecks that provide a pop of colour. This sport coat features a lighter weight, Italian take on donegal from Lanificio di Pray. The beige base is accented with touches of red, blue, & rust that add some visual texture. Originally designed for the cold, wet weather of Scotland, our Balmacaan overcoat is a practical choice for inclement weather. Featuring hardy wool herringbone from Magee with colourful donegal flecking, this coat has several traditional details, such as a fly front, raglan sleeves, and adjustable button-tab cuffs.

There’s also a removable throat latch and tie-belt around the waist. A relaxed, easy fit ensures that our balmacaan will work over a suit or sport jacket for work, or a chunky sweater & jeans on weekends.
