In this weeks newsletter, we explore ways that you can stay cool on your next camping holiday! Good Morning, Leslie Snipes, Across Australia it's finally been warming up! Staying cool & hydrated is now a concern for campers. In this email, we're going to take a look at some of the items we recommend you consider for your next camping trip. Air conditioning is the go-to way to stay cool at home, and we're starting to see some portable air-conditioning units intended for camping being offered. But from my evaluations, they beform too poorly for us to be interested in selling them. For the time being, air conditioning is impractical for the off grid camper, but that could change in the future! In the meantime, we'll have to learn how to live without air-conditioning when camping off grid. (Tough times! 😂) To achieve this it involves these elements - shade, fans, hydration and refrigeration. Make sure you book your next camping holiday soon. The Summer school holidays are only just around the corner! Kind Regards, and Happy Camping, Jon Burrell CEO Tentworld P.S.: Did you know we have a national store network? Check the shop finder to see if there is one nearby. And if not, remember, we deliver Australia-wide! | | | OZtrail 4.2 Blockout Shade Dome Shelter with Sunwall | A$349.00 | One of our favourite shade shelters right now - the OZtrail 4.2 BlockOut Shade Dome features blockout treatment on the fabric, as well as a strong steel frame. This shelter does require more assembly than a gazebo, but, with the helping hand of another person it's not a difficult chore. The reward is a superior shaded area, that packs away much smaller than a gazebo. TIP: To really get the most out of your shelter, buying another 3x walls to allow you to fully enclose it really makes it great in all weather conditions. Grab them here. | | | | | | | Tentworld Combo Torch Fan Lantern - V2 | A$49.99 | This USB-C rechargeable fan & light combo excels in the swag for personal cooling, or in larger tents for air circulation. Give it additional run time by pairing it with a USB power bank. | | | | | | | EVAKOOL Down Under II 65L Dual Zone Fridge/Freezer - Iconic EvaKool Blue | A$1,199.00 | One of the smaller dual zones on the market, this fridge gives you the ability to have a fridge & freezer, or go all fridge, or all freezer. During summer, I'd be sure sticking some icey poles in there. Best of all, this fridge is Australian made! Made right here on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland! These are on display in all Tentworld stores, so come in and have a look. | | | | | | | Companion Maxi Evaporative Cooler Fan | A$99.00 | If you're going camping somewhere where it's hot, but not too humid - evaporative fans can be very effective! This fan has an integrated rechargeable battery, but you can also run it directly from 240v or 12v. | | | | | | | OZtrail 3.0 Blockout Deluxe Gazebo | A$299.00 | OZtrail have also released a gazebo with a blockout canopy which helps keep you cool. Oztrail gazebos are great for how easy they are to setup, and pack away. Packed away these are large & bulky, and are difficult to store in regular vehicles. | | | | | | | Outdoor Connection Breezeway 12v Camping Fan | A$62.90 | This 12v fan has been a long term Tentworld favourite - due to its legs folding away, it packs away quite compact - but it is a large, fan that shifts a lot of air. There is no need to worry about recharging this one, as it draws power from your larger camp battery. | | | | | | | Companion Rover 100 Li Powerstation | A$1,299.00 | These days, with most camping gear transitioning away from LPG to 12v & USB, having a central power station to charge and run all your goodies is essential. This powerstation is HUGE and is close to the equivalent of a 200ah AGM battery due to its capacity being more useable. But, unlike a 200ah AGM battery, this weighs only 11kg!! Making it extremely portable. No longer do you need to leave your AGM batteries installed in your vehicle. This will charge from your ciga outlet in the car whilst on the road, and when at camp can take charge from your solar panel via its anderson port. | | | | | | | Yeti Rambler One Gallon Jug | A$199.95 | Head on day trips with enough cold water for the family with this 3785ml vacuum insulated water jug. | | | | | | | Coleman Hammock Lightweight | A$29.90 | This compact, light weight hammock from Coleman is great for resting in the shade. | | | | | | | Crochead Mosquito Coil Holder | A$6.90 | Don't get chased into your hot tent to escape the mosquitos, arm yourself with several Crochead mosquito coil holders, and keep them out of your shaded area! The best thing with these is that they can use broken up pieces of mosquito coils, letting you choose how much you want to burn. | | | | | | | BlackWolf Turbo BLK Lite Cabin 450 Tent | A$1,399.00 | The BlackWolf Turbo Tent is a tried and tested design that is reliable and durable. This is the newest model from BlackWolf in the size popular with families, that features the light blocking treatment known as blockout or darkroom with other brands. | | | | | | | BlackWolf Tank Hydration Bladder - 3L | A$43.99 | Convert your backpack to a hydration pack with this bladder. Or, put in the centre console of your car for convenient water whilst driving. There is a large opening for easy cleaning, and for dropping in ice. | | | | | | | HOW TO WIN!?!? - If you're receiving this email, then you're already in the draw to win! TOO EASY!
