I hope you're enjoying the long weekend! I am eagerly awaiting all your out-of-office replies, telling me you're away camping!
If not, then maybe the following should be added to your New Year's Resolutions:
✅ Go on more camping holidays in 2024!
The best thing about camping, is that every time you go - you get more value from the camping gear you own. If you choose to go to National Parks, the fees for your weekend can often be less than staying at home. Especially if you find yourself drawn to the local cafe, or for takeaways!
The best thing with taking any kind of holiday is leaving the house and abandoning your home duties and routines. To spend quality, uninterrupted time with your loved ones. For kids, camping also delivers to them more freedom. They don't have to ask or be sent to play outside - they're already there!
When it comes to catching up with friends. Inviting them on a camping trip allows everyone to meet on neutral territory - no lawn to be mown, no house to be tidied. You can relax with your friends and enjoy the serenity.
For some of us, camping allows us to spend more time enjoying our favourite hobbies, be it mountain bike riding, bush walking, fishing, bird watching or reading.
