| Hi Mama! This morning while driving my kids to school there were A LOT of tears. Concerns about friends, homework, clothing and even lunches. It occurred to me just how many times a day they are wondering, "Am I enough?" I think we can all relate to that question, but underestimate how often our kids fall into self doubt and insecurity. At Tubby Todd our goal is to connect families, but in our own home our ultimate goal is that our kids will feel secure in who they are so they can feel confident as they grow up and start taking care of themselves. We believe this security starts small, in the daily rituals and routines we teach and carry out together as a family. Through caring for our own bodies we learn that people have worth and valueβnot because of how they are dressed or who they are friends with, but because each person has a unique light to share in the world. This week we introduced 3 *brand new* products into our product line that will help you develop routines and rituals with your kids as they head into their teenage years. And although we can't squeeze our love into our babies, here's to hoping (and praying) that with every dollop of Toothpaste, every swipe of Deo or every drop of Face Wash they will remember the message that they are enough. xx, |
