So, what do Pine-Sol and Cannabis have in common?
You guessed it - Pinene!

Pinene is one of the most common terpenes found in the natural world, showing up in large concentrations in herbs like rosemary and dill, plants like pine trees, conifer trees, and cannabis and even cleaning products like turpentine and Pine-Sol.

Actually, it's not used in the current version of Pine-Sol, but it was way back in the day and can still be found in a variety of pine oil cleaners. That's because it has well-established fungicidal, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties.

Additionally, Pinene has some very interesting therapeutic effects that are backed up by peer-reviewed scientific studies. Since we're not allowed to make effects claims we won't talk about them here, but feel free to dive in on your own.
