Farm Update 🌱 🚜

The Fall Equinox is two weeks away, and in our corner of Northwest Oregon, that means its just about time to get the plants out of the ground!

Why, you ask?

Well, because the rains are on their way! In fact, they've already paid us a visit:

Fortunately, we use genetics that finish on the early side, so they're able reach the ideal level of aromatic, trichome-drenched maturity by about the second-to-third week of September.

Here's a perfect example of that:

You'll notice that this gorgeous cola exhibits pistils that are changing color from white to pinkish-brown. This is one, of many, things to look for when deciding when to harvest a strain.

We also have some very exciting news that we've been keeping to ourselves...

The deps have been harvested, cured, and trimmed, so three AMAZING fan-favorites are on their way back in the next week!

Tweedle, what the heck are "deps"?

That's shorthand for flower grown in a greenhouse that uses a technique called "light deprivation." Essentially, it forces plants to flower earlier in the season, when the summer days are still long, by strategically depriving them of light.
