| | | |  | | Scott's View | | Charles McGee, a decorated combat veteran and one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen, passed away this past week at 102. He served our nation for 30 years, flying 409 combat missions in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam War.
McGee was active in the public eye even during his latest years. He flew planes, performed the coin flip at Super Bowl LIV, and was honored at the 2020 Presidential State of the Union Address, where he was promoted to brigadier general.
