| | How did the group start? | | | | Vicki: Six of us met at an introduction to wild swimming workshop. We all hit it off immediately and took each other’s details. Then we started swimming. And others heard about us through other workshops or joined through mutual friends. | | |

| | | | | Why do you love this group? | | | | Spuds: We all empower and support each other. | | | | Sukhpal: It’s a bit like therapy. Last week we were in the water and we were all saying the things we didn’t like about ourselves and our bodies. It was so sad we felt like that about ourselves. So we decided to instead go around the group and point out something we do like about ourselves. This group is so good for our mental well-being. | | |
| | | | | | Yvonne: It’s helped with body confidence for sure. With wild swimming, you regularly have to strip off and get changed in front of strangers. So I’m a lot more accepting of my body, which is amazing. How can we expect our kids to accept their bodies when they see us so hung up on ours? | | | | Karen: If I miss a meet-up, it affects the rest of my week. | | |
