NOVICE CARDIGAN IN BICHES + BÛCHES

We have a deep appreciation of all things silk-mohair and love nothing more than adding a strand of its fluffy beauty to our knitting! Loop Staffer Joanna has dubbed this companion knitting: pairing one strand of fingering weight yarn with a strand of mohair to create a plush, angelically haloed fabric.

Today we're bringing you a selection of designer PetiteKnit's companion-knit projects that blend Biches + B û ches yarns for stunning effects!

We begin with this lovely Novice Cardigan, knit by Loop staffer Kathy and it's everything you'll ever want in a classic cardigan. With its easy-fitting, round-yoked neckline and cleanly ribbed button bands, it's a perfectly beginner-friendly cardi that can be dressed up or dressed down, your choice!

To knit your own Novice Cardigan, you'll need:

4-8 balls of Biches + Bûches Le Petit Lambswool (Kathy used Medium Grey)
8-15 balls of Biches + Bûches Le Petit Silk Mohair (Kathy used Blue Grey)
US 4 32" circular needles
US 6 16" + 40" circular needles

The Caramel Sweater is the coziest turtleneck you'll ever wear! This sweater is worked in the round from the top down, requiring no finishing but weaving in your ends!

The Stockholm Slipover is a classic V-neck vest that's worked from the top down. Short row shaping helps give the shoulders a perfect fit, and ribbed edging provides a clean finish.

To knit the Stockholm Slipover, you'll need:

3-5 balls of Biches + Bûches Le Petit Silk Mohair
US 7 16" + 40" circular needles
