Brooklyn Tweed Shelter is Restocked!

At long last, Brooklyn Tweed Shelter is starting to return to our shelves! Due to many pandemic-related production issues, Shelter has been on hiatus, but we are thrilled that one of Loop's all-time favorites is returning and looking just as beautiful as we remembered!

Shelter is the yarn that started it all for Brooklyn Tweed and was crafted to be the worsted weight yarn of designer Jared Flood's knitting dreams! 

This woolen-spun yarn has a light and lofty hand, creating a warm and wooly fabric. It's got an exceptional stitch definition for satisfying stockinette and cables alike! And when you're finished knitting, wet blocking is where the magic happens - the yarn softens and plumps to perfection! 

It's also worth noting that everything about Shelter is Made in the USA - the wool comes from Wyoming-based Targhee-Columbia sheep, then spun in a time-honored New Hampshire mill. Finally, it is dyed in Pennsylvania in a beautifully curated palette of heathered colors, perfect for knitting alone or in colorwork blends!

THE WEEKENDER

We are obsessed with The Weekender! This classic, slightly oversized pullover from Andrea Mowry is a relatively easy knit that's ultra comfy and super flattering.

You'll need: 

• 7-14 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter
• US 7, 8 + 9 40" circular needles
• US 8+9 DPNs
• The Weekender pattern
