It's peak hygge season, the time of year for creating warmth and coziness. Now that we've thoughtfully taken care of everyone for the holidays, we're declaring January the month for "selfish knitting"! It's time to cast on for something new, just for you!

Today, we're showing you some finer gauge projects that have leaped into our queue. Each of the following patterns can be knit in warm and wooly Biches + Bûches yarns. Snuggle up and prepare to get cozy!

We stock two yarns from Biches + Bûches, a company based in France and helmed by two Scandinavian friends who know a thing or two about warm handknits!

Le Petit Lambswool is a fingering weight yarn spun from the first wool sheared from young sheep raised in Scotland. It's whisper-soft and combines a rustic, classic look with a sublimely squishy feel.

Le Petit Lambswool knits into a gorgeous fabric all by itself. Also, it works up beautifully when held together companion style with a strand of Le Petit Silk & Mohair, a fluffy laceweight blend of 70% mohair and 30% silk. The combo yields a luscious fabric with a soft, gossamer halo.

TALKEETNA

This yoked, top-down pullover pattern from Boyland Knitworks is such a colorful antidote to the gray days of winter! As shown, it's knit with 1 main color + 5 contrasting colors.

You'll need:

3-4 skeins of Le Petit Lambswool for the main color
5 skeins of Le Petit Lambswool for the contrast colors (1 skein in each color)
