It has a slight thick-and-thin texture, fantastic loft, and is the perfect size for quick knitting accessories and garments, especially those featuring cables and textured stitches. It's also a superwash Merino wool, meaning it can be safely machine washed on gentle in cold water (or hand washed) then laid flat to dry.
Like all Malabrigo yarns, Mecha is kettle dyed to create a glowing, watercolor-like melange of color on each skein and comes in tonal semi-solids and gorgeously variegated colorways.* (*Be sure to get enough Mecha to complete your project since the kettle dying process can yield subtle differences from skein to skein. When you place your order, type PICK UP LOOP WEST in the shipping address. We will refund your shipping fee and email you when your order is ready to pick up. We bring online orders to Loop West once a week. Your order will be available to pick up the week after it is placed.
