I hope this email finds you beside a campfire, enjoying your morning brew, perhaps dreaming of your next camping adventure.
Lately, I've been planning some long weekend trips. The great thing about camping is that, once you own the gear, there's nothing stopping you from using it more—aside from the usual commitments like birthday parties, sports, house chores, and so on.
That's why planning is essential. As they say, fail to plan - plan to fail! I like to plan some long weekends away between major holidays to keep us all in a healthy state of mind.
When it's been a while between holidays, I enjoy taking an early mark on a Friday or even the entire day off if possible. This lets me arrive at camp before dinner, and it's fantastic waking up the next day, ready to explore our new surroundings!
To make things even easier, sometimes we leave the kitchen gear and food at home and choose to support local cafes and pubs. It certainly simplifies meal planning!
In the end, the more you use your camping gear, the better value you get from it. It does no good sitting in the shed!
