CUTIE PIE IN COTTON WOOL

Layering season is upon us! Today we're talking about a great little layering piece for babies because even when the autumn sun is shining, a walk to the park can be a chilly trip for wee ones!

We have heart eyes for Cutie Pie, a precious wrap sweater from designer Erika Knight. Our sweater, knit by Loop Staffer Aubry, fastens with two offset buttons, making it secure for baby and easy for grownups to get on and off single-handedly.

Knit in pieces using all garter stitch- no purling here- this little wrap is assembled utilizing a 3-needle- bind off and a seam under the arms. The side seams are left open for easy diaper access! Confident Beginners, this is an excellent project for you!

Cutie Pie makes perfect use of Rowan Cotton Wool, a worsted weight, chainette style blend of wool and organic cotton that's angelically soft and light and comes in charmingly subtle colors!

Although the label advocates for handwashing only, we have machine-washed this yarn in a cold, gentle cycle and laid it flat to dry with lovely results - you can gift it to a busy, non-knitting mum without worry.

FALL FESTIVAL

Celebrate the return of knitting season at our upcoming Fall Festival!

Join us at Loop in Center City on Saturday and Sunday, October 16 and 17 from 10:00AM to 4:00 PM.

We’ve partnered with Philadelphia makers Liverpool Yarns, Dye is Cast Yarns, and Bog Berry Handicrafts!

We’ve also partnered with Action Wellness for a fun fundraising opportunity. Have your festival yarn wound by our volunteers for a suggested donation of $1 per hank. All money raised will go directly to Action Wellness, a Philadelphia-based organization that’s been helping people living with chronic illness since 1986.
