Celebrate the brilliant colors of fall with Rowan Felted Tweed Colour (FTC) - now freshly restocked!

DK weight FTC has all of the beloved properties of Rowan's original Felted Tweed: it's soft, lightweight, and flecked with tweedy color. However, FTC also boasts a melty gradient, creating knits that deliver maximum color appeal with minimal effort needed from the knitter!

We've paired FTC with our go-to bias scarf pattern, and as you can see, this pattern does a great job of revealing all of FTC's beautiful color as it shifts from shade to shade!

Sometimes a yarn demands to be knit in stockinette stitch, and FTC is one of those yarns!

What makes our bias scarf different from a traditional long, rectangle scarf? If you've ever knit a traditional scarf in straight stockinette stitch, you've no doubt experienced the dreaded edge curl phenomenon. Bias knit scarves, however, use a series of simple increases and decreases on the edges to help stabilize the stockinette stitch on the diagonal. In short: no curling!

And the beauty of using FTC for this pattern means you don't have to change colors mid-pattern. Just keep knitting and purling; the yarn will do all the work for you!

2 balls of Rowan Felted Tweed Colour (FTC) (prefer a solid color scarf? Try regular Rowan Felted Tweed!)
US 8 needles
