Designed by Antonia Shankland, the Far Garter Cowl is an easy-to-knit project that calls for a luxuriously soft Woolfolk Far. It's as pleasurable to knit as it is to wear, and it's a meditatively gentle way to help you unwind as you check off your holiday to-do list!

How would we describe Woolfolk Far? For starters, it's got all the sumptuous, cloud-like softness of cashmere- but it's not cashmere! Instead, Far is made using a patented Ultimate Merino. It's plied in a chainette construction, so the yarn's core stays airy and light, helping your garments and accessories retain warmth without feeling bulky or cumbersome.

Far's exquisite stitch definition looks so lovely in a simple presentation. And since all of the colors in Far's sophisticated palette work so beautifully together, Antonia created the Far Garter Cowl in a sublime, color-blocked format so you'll have lots of options.

Here are some of our favorite color combos:

Top Left: 27 + 00, Top Right: 21 + 30

Bottom Left: 02 + 11, Bottom Right: 18 + 20

To knit the Far Garter Cowl, you'll need:

3 skeins of Woolfolk Far - 2 skeins in a main color + 1 for contrast (Antonia used colors 33 + 28)
US 8 24" circular needles
