HUG HUG KISS KISS IN TOSH VINTAGE

In our recent fall Knit A Long (KAL) hosted in our Loop Ravelry group, everyone knit a beautiful Hug Hug Kiss Kiss shawl. This fun design by Andrea Mowry was a great project to experiment with new skills, textures, and especially yarn and color combinations!

Loop staffer Bonnie created her KAL shawl in warm and cozy Madelinetosh Vintage. It's no secret that Tosh has gorgeous colors. And its machine washability and next-to-skin softness make it a yarn that knitters return to again and again.

In addition to introducing knitters to a new and more simple way to create bobbles for texture, Hug Hug Kiss Kiss features engaging crossed stitches that encourage knitters to indulge in color!

One main color takes center stage, while 3 contact colors create a colorful accent along the border. Bonnie used nocturne as her main color + candlewick, antler, and celadon as her accents, and it's such a wonderfully wearable palette. The dark background is unexpected, and it shows off the beauty of the bright border pops!

3 skeins of Tosh Vintage, 1 for each of 3 accent colors
