LIVERPOOL YARNS

Join us in welcoming Liverpool Yarns to Loop! Founded by Philadelphia designer, Erika Flory, stocking this yarn feels like a homecoming since Erika was once a Loop staffer!

Since leaving the Loop fold, she has taken her deep love of yarn in an even woolier direction, creating Liverpool Yarns and its signature line of 100% Shetland wool sourced from the UK and spun right here in Pennsylvania.

Stocked in our Center City shop and online, Liverpool Fingering is a soft, 2-ply yarn that's worsted spun for loft, springiness, and stitch definition. This versatile fingering weight yarn is made to be knitted into warm, durable hats and lacy shawls alike! Along with offering a range of natural, sheepy colors, we're also carrying a rainbow assortment of bold, vivid colors!

In addition to her yarn line, Erika designs patterns with decidedly Pennsylvania-themed inspirations! Read on for a few of our favorites!

EAGLESMERE COWL

Eaglesmere is a small, tranquil town located in the beautiful Endless Mountain region of Sullivan County, PA. With its fluffy garter peak and elegant eyelet valleys, the bandana-style Eaglesmere Cowl encapsulates the town's simplistic beauty in an endlessly wearable accessory!

Erika combined her wool with our silk-mohair blend for added softness and Pennsylvania flair!

Shown above L to R are:

beebalm + cherry, firewheel + papaya, buttercup + lemon, forest + evergreen, chicory + lake, ironweed + crocus.

To knit the Eaglesmere Cowl, you'll need:

CLEONA SHAWL

Named for Cleona, a quintessentially Pennsylvania town in nearby Lebanon County, the bold, graphic elements of Erika's Cleona Shawl are achieved with mosaic knitting, a slip stitch technique even newer knitters can manage with ease! This shawl is an excellent opportunity to pair Liverpool Fingering's gorgeous Shetland neutrals with a bold color pop!

To knit a Cleona Shawl, you'll need:

LINGLESTOWN SHAWL

The lacy Linglestown Shawl is made with just 2 skeins of Liverpool! This piece gives you 3 textures to keep your interest: garter, simple lace, and ribbing!

To knit Linglestown Shawl, you'll need:
