Each skein is artfully hand-dyed in a range of tonal and fun variegated colorways that can be machine washed gently then laid flat to dry, making it the perfect yarn for accessories and sweaters for kids and adults!

LITTLE SQUIRREL SOCKS

Squish Worsted is a fantastic option for ultra colorful, easy-care socks! We worked up this toddler-sized pair using the Little Squirrel sock pattern from Tin Can Knits in the fun and cheerful colorway Happy Place. Because Squish Worsted is worsted weight, these socks knit up lightning-fast and are extra soft and cushiony!

Little Squirrel is an excellent pattern for newer sock knitters. This clear, concise pattern offers tutorial links to help walk you through sock construction. Choose from 8 sizes ranging from newborn to adult large - start now, and you can knit a pair of socks for your whole family in time for the holidays!

What are you doing this weekend? Consider yourself officially invited to join us for our Fall Festival at our Center City shop this Saturday and Sunday, October 16 & 17, from 10am-4pm!

We'll be celebrating the season in partnership with a few of our favorite Philadelphia makers:

Liverpool Yarns - Founded in 2014 by Philly knitter and designer Erika Flory, Liverpool Yarns specializes in 100% Shetland wool sourced in Great Britain and spun in a local Pennsylvania mill.

Dye is Cast Yarns - Philadelphia-based Dye is Cast is a small indie company specializing in richly hand-dyed yarns artfully crafted in small batches.

Bog Berry Handicrafts - Makers of our favorite felted wool dryer balls, Bog Berry Handicrafts regionally sources the wool for its handmade dryer balls to create an eco-friendly and non-toxic alternative to dryer sheets.

We've also partnered with Action Wellness, a Philadelphia-based organization that's been helping people with chronic illness since 1986. Our volunteers will wind your festival yarn for a suggested donation of $1 per hank, and all money raised will go directly to Action Wellness!
