That's how it was with our new Cocoknits Leonie sweater knit in beautiful Biches + Bûches Le Coton + Alpaca!

Le Coton + Alpaca is a worsted weight, slightly thick and thin yarn comprised of an utterly buttery blend of super fine alpaca blown into a natural colored cotton core. This unique pairing combines to create a seriously beautiful texture with a satisfyingly soft and gauzy halo.

Le Coton + Alpaca is an ideal choice for creating garments that transition through the fall and spring shoulder seasons. Your knits will be lightweight and excellent for layering. The color palette also moves seamlessly from season to season with a distinctly neutral flair and nature-inspired shades that span from light and airy to deep and moody.

Leonie is a modern sweater/tee hybrid with an easy-wearing relaxed silhouette and a slightly cropped fit that will pair well with high-waisted trousers and flowy tank dresses.

It's knit from the bottom up and uses short row shaping to gently curve the shoulders, which are then connected using a three-needle bind-off. Once the shoulders are attached, stitches are picked up and knit to elongate the sleeves.
